Glad there is an entire Wikipedia Article on this. A list of premature obituaries that have accidentally been published or something like that when the person hasn't actually died yet.

I guess the news people are supposed to ready with 95% of the story in case that person dies and then fill in the rest if it happens.

Last post of the night. I was standing in line at Barnes and Noble today and overheard a gem of a statement. The line was starting to get longer and an old guy turned to an old lady (the same old lady that had yelled from the escalator to the customer service girl to not go anywhere because she needed help) and said wow the line sure is getting long. Another old guy chimes in, that's ok it's good to see a lot of people reading (I agree.) He doesn't stop there. Then makes the statement, well at least they are all democrats because the republicans sure wouldn't be here. What? Continues to make unvalidated remarks about the republican policy regarding libraries. Then all the people in the line chime in, especially the old lady, "well I'm voting democrat." Well good for you. Why did I feel like I was surrounded by 18 yr olds trying to fit in? And how do people have the guts to make such ridiculous statements when everyone else can hear? Wow wow wow

Just remembered this one. I believe I was in Africa when I read this story and I laughed for a million years. Thanks to Dave Pratt for that forward.

I'm just real glad this guy is okay, otherwise it wouldn't be a funny story. So the guy is crossing the street in his wheelchair and a semi truck pulls up, doesn't see him, starts going and the wheelchair gets stuck in the grill. Takes him for a long ride. Love it.

I read this great newsletter from AsktheBuilder.com and well the builder tends to go off on personal tangents before he addresses some home improvement ideas. Sometimes he'll talk about moving to New Hampshire while his wife and daughter live in Ohio. This time, he discussed his latest visit to the hardware store where he ran into this old couple he knew. Long story short, he told them he had a website! And guess what? The old guy had one too. Fancy that.

Cute Overload

I'm sorry but this website has been a work favorite for months. We all claim this site is so ridiculous but one by one we would all find a picture that made us say "ahhh so cute." I'll admit I have done that multiple times but I would like to say I found something extremely ridiculous on there.

Quacks and Racks as a Category. Check it out. It's not scandalous..at least I didn't see anything scandalous it is just utterly ridiculous (I realize I have already used that word 3 times.) I'll post more on this later. Just wanted to get the word out and get them some free traffic.

Maybe this is only entertaining to me because well I subscribe to emails, read emails, create emails, and send emails all day long but I would like to honestly second this guy's opinion. VistaPrint loves their emails and they all suck. I love cheap crap but I'm not a sucker for cheap marketing. Sorry VistaPrint, this guy gave you some bad PR

So Google is great, we all know. Heard of Mail Goggles? It's a new invention for all those late night drinkers who have a tendency to email old girlfriends, ask them to get back together and regret it the next morning.

From now on, at certain times (I think Friday and Saturday nights for sure) you have to answer some math questions before you can send your email. You can also set up custom times for when you are particularly vulnerable.

While discussing this at work, my co-worker mentioned that if you really wanted to send that email you would just pull out a calculator and go right past it. Check the article
